The Planning Committee is the key committee that provides direction to the comprehensive development activities of Marvanthuruthu Village Panchayat and takes the lead in scientifically assessing the development needs of the Panchayat area and formulating annual plans and development plans. Considering the needs of the people and local development possibilities, determining priorities for projects in various sectors and providing necessary directions and recommendations to the Panchayat Administrative Committee are the main responsibilities of this committee.
The Planning Committee plays a crucial role in formulating sustainable and people-oriented development plans by integrating the development vision of the Village Panchayat with government guidelines. The committee leads in formulating projects related to various sectors such as agriculture, education, health, infrastructure development, social welfare, women and child development, environmental protection, etc., and in their efficient implementation.
The Planning Committee, consisting of elected representatives, officials, experts from various fields, and social workers, ensures public participation in the development activities of the Panchayat and provides guidance to achieve the long-term development goals necessary for the overall progress of the region.
